Shailina Keshwani, now officially Dr.(!!) Shailina Keshwani, successfully defended her Ph.D. dissertation today. Her dissertation, entitled “Analgesic Use, Risk of Cardiovascular Diseases and Effectiveness of Beta Blockers in Medicare Population with Osteoarthritis and Co-Existing Hypertension,” focuses on the intersection of treatments for osteoarthritis and cardiovascular disease (especially hypertension).

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Keshwani on this huge milestone!

Lucky for us, she will be continuing with the lab as a research assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy.
